On February 24 and 25, 2023, the scientific-practical conference "The Imperative of the International Recognition of the Republic of Artsakh" was held in Yerevan. At the conference, speakers and participants discussed in detail the current state of the international recognition of the Republic of Artsakh, legal arguments, ways and mechanisms to facilitate this process, as well as opportunities and prospects, political and legal possibilities for its full and comprehensive achievement.

 

M. A. Shakhzadeyan, Chairman of the Board of the Armenian Association of Political Scientists, delivered a report on “The Legitimacy of the Formation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) According to the Legislation of the USSR” at the conference.

 

The text of the report can be found in the "Publications" section of the association's website. The materials of the conference and its final recommendations will be presented to the state bodies of Armenia and Artsakh, international organizations and other interested parties.
